This is Milo. I am looking to rehome him to a home that has no children, no cats, and very patient dogs.
He is very energetic, has a high prey drive, and very stubborn.
I do not know what breed he is, but I am pretty sure he has terrier, maybe basset hound, and possibly Aussie or heeler.
He likes to nip, bark, jump, chase cats, chew on feet, and he nips or barks at me if I try to correct bad behavior.
He needs to go to someone who has experience with these type of dogs.
I do feel like with the right training, he could be a really good dog.
I feel like he could be used as a hunting or working dog. He has an AMAZING sniffer. He could even be a drug dog! He'd make a really good service dog with the right training and work put in.
He is about 8 months old, is up to date on shots, is not neutered, nor is he completely house or kennel trained. I got him as a gift for my brother, which I learned wasn't the best idea, and now I just want to find someone who can give him the environment he needs to thrive in.
He is NOT good around children, from what I've noticed. He likes to chases cats. He doesn't try to hurt them, but he gets REALLY excited and tries to pounce on them. He likes to get in my other dog's face, ignoring all warning signs they give him, and I am worried he may get bit.
I am asking a $50 rehoming fee to ensure he gets a good home. I will be asking A LOT of questions before giving him away.
I will include his kennel, a leash, and two a harness for him.
Serious inquiries only.
REMEMBER: he needs someone who is EXPERIENCED with energetic, high prey drive, stubborn dogs.
