Position: Farm and Ranch Operations Personnel
(Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Benefits Optional!)
*Located Near Monument Kansas (housing can be arranged for relocation)
Job Summary:
The responsibility of Operation Personnel is to work closely with the Operations Manager to complete any and all operational aspects of the farm.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Promote safe work habits to prevent injuries in the workplace.
Ensure safety precautions are taken to prevent damage to vehicles, buildings, and other property.
Quality control.
Record keeping.
Perform and assist in the performance of planting operations.
Perform and assist in the performance of spraying operations.
Perform and assist in the performance of fertilizing operations.
Perform and assist in the performance of maintenance/fabrication projects.
Perform and assist in the performance of harvesting operations.
Perform and assist in the performance of irrigation operations.
Maintain grain storage facilities.
Observe and/or fix equipment and vehicle problems and report unresolved issues to Operations Manager.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop, service trucks, equipment, and tools.
Work closely with Operations Manager for maximum efficiency and production.
Manage health, feeding, and accountability of livestock.
Minimum Requirements
A positive and respectful attitude. Mechanical aptitude. Sense of professionalism in the performance of all job functions. Willingness to learn and apply knowledge obtained from employer. Willingness to learn and apply knowledge obtained from third-party sources. Motivation to develop the knowledge base necessary to assure performance of essential job functions. Class A CDL (exceptions will be made for the right individual assuming he or she has the ability to obtain it in a short period of time).
