This guitar is absolutely perfect and plays like a dream, even two years after I had it professionally set up. One of my favorite features is the "thin skin" aging they've applied to the finish. It really allows the wood to resonate, giving the tone an unmatched depth compared to other newer SJs with a full-thickness finish. Gibson truly nailed it with this model, making it feel well-worn without any relic-ing or excessive wear. This guitar has served me wonderfully and has always been kept in its case when not in use. It's bittersweet to part with it, but the collection will continue.
