Essential Functions
• Source sales leads
• Establish rapport with customers
• Engage with customers to determine needs and solve problems by matching with appropriate products and
services
• Use the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to track and manage sales leads
• Answer inbound sales calls, makes outbound and follow up sales calls
• Creates quotes for customers
• Negotiate to meet customer needs while maintaining sales profit margins
• Prepare sales paperwork and invoices
• Present finance opportunities to customers and assists the customer with the finance process.
• Process sales through the cash register and Store Order Entry (SOE) system
• With the support and direction of the Store Manager, plans and executes outside sales calls to develop wholesale
business
• Attend off-site sales events (Trade shows, sale barns, co-ops, farm expos, tractor pulls, etc.) to market the company
and develop sales leads.
• Work with management to coordinate inventory needs and special orders
• Support opening and closing of the facility as directed
• Coordinate, organize and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard and showroom
• Assist in maintaining the general appearance and organization of the offices and facility
• Keep current with industry trends and updates.
